    Doesnt really settle things, just doesnt make one player better than the other. Though whos to say everything will be put on that format, chances are anything sony made will be bluray only.

    lol yea there's no way Sony's going to make anything on HDDVD unless bluray completely fails and is wiped off the map.

    Licensing fees for both HD-DVD and BluRay on one disc will probably make this too expensive to market, even if it is cheap to manufacture.
