Not really the ghetto, but it is smack dab in the center of downtown. It is north or Broad St., which is good thing. I guess you could classify this as the Short North, but not really (a little too far south). I wouldn't worry about taking your g/f, the miscreants tend to hang out south of Broad St., or in German Villiage (east side mutha fucka!). I would suggest getting there early, as anyone familiar with Columbus can tell you, parking downtown can be a fucking bitch.
