I personally use http://www.kaspersky.com
Give it a go.

AVG and Kaspersky are both great and free. It is possible to get Symantec for free, but you'll have to do some searching.

I found Norton to have to much uneeded stuff.
Don't get me wrong its pretty solid, but I like software like that straight and to the point.

I use avg, and It works pretty good. I also downloaded STINGER anti-virus(used it when I worked at a internet gaming center for 2 years) and works pretty good too, and free.

It's been said before but i maintain; AVG is the way to go.

The free version outperforms NAV and doesnt nag you to pay for a subscription.
If you are running a GENUINE copy of windows and you have the extra memory to deal, I seriously suggest getting windows defender for spyware.
Its one of the only MS programs I've ever recomended. I used to use a few other things like Adaware ect but Windows defender is very powerful and gives you a lot of control over your computer's processes, active x plugins, and startup programs as well as very good spyware protection.

If you are running a cracked copy of windows dont let it near your system though lol.
