    Optical Drive... help ; ;

    Ehhh, i try to watch a burned DVD copy of V for Vendetta and i could not play it. I inserted the DVD and it makes like a scratching noise for like 5 min and then didnt recognize the DVD.

    I put an orginal copy of Kung Hustle and it plays normally.

    I am pissed so i try my other burned DVD and CD and to my disappointment, they couldnt be recognized by my Opitcal Drive.

    What gives?

    Time to buy a new one? No codec? Starforce?

    Aye, try a different program to burn it, or your drive just sucks. If its spinning and not reading, its not a codec problem or anything, just means your drive sucks and cant read it, how old is it?

    Try using Nero or Sonic Record.
