New Mercenary Ranks

Two new quests have been added to allow players to earn the mercenary ranks "Sergeant" and "Sergeant Major." Players can expect a unique experience differing from the style of previous missions and quests.

New Assault Missions

A total of 10 new Assault missions will be added to complement the new mercenary ranks, with 5 new missions for Sergeants and 5 for Sergeant Majors.

As in the July version update, players can expect a plethora of features in the new missions. Some will require thorough battle planning, others will include no battles at all, and several will give players a unique experience that cannot be had in the course of a typical adventure.

This is why I've saved IS so far. If this update doesn't have good items, I'll be a bit dissapointed XD

Sadly I don't even know if I have my points to advance as of the update. People asked me to assault daily until we all ranked up to Corporal, then no one asked me again lol

Back to ignoring missions/assaults til they add an Odin fight. Only took em a year to patch in Bahamut so it looks like I got some time.

As for IS, I use em for food sanction and silver coins for the paytaru, that's about it. :/

yup. Don't do assault until they release Odin, at which point 3000 players will be rushing to get to. it's easier.

Because that has any affect on the ability to access instanced content, click an npc or finding some static ???

If anything it saves the trouble of having to look for Warhorse Footprints for the 8th time, just need to hit enter 2x and look for the few out of 3000 who care enough to shout about it.
