Final Fantasy XI From PS2 to XBox 360

this is a question for whoever went from ps or pc ffxi....to the xbox 360....ok im bout to buy the xbox 360, i have an active account of ffxi on ps2....how will this work? since i know the 360 ffxi has its own POL registration, FFXI, ZM, CoP, and ToAu....does that mean im gonna have to re-enter my credit card info etc when i install POL? .....im so confused, lol

you just use your pol id and password to log in, no need to mess with registration keys or credit cards. however you need to link your pol id to your xbox live account, pretty straightforward though

I transferred from PS2 to Xbox 360 in about 45 seconds. Your POL ID and password don't change. Very easy transition, even for someone like me, who knows dick about computers.

Yes its really really easy and fast. But imo ps2 > 360 + PC (for the fact that i have a crapy one). To me the game seems to move alot slower on 360 and seems to lag a whole lot more. People say it runs smoother so seems slower but moving at the same speed. But i'll take tanking on my ps2 over my 360 anyday cuz the lag kills the response time of the game. IMO.

this is true, my pc is like 3 years old but I prefer it over my 360. Only reason I got it was because they didn't have toau for pc on release day and it was only like 20 bucks more

thx everyone....just got back from buyn my 360....yea ima play ffxi on it...i dont like playstation, ffxi only reason i even touch it (ps2 is bros) ...im an xbox fan, if ffxi was bout for reg xbox i would of gottn it for it, lol.......and ima get xbox live gold as well for the rest of the multiplayer games

Funny side note, one of the achievements for FFXI is a getting a stage 5 relic weapon. And it's worth.... 40 achievement points. What's funnier, is that there's achievements worth more points than that. I think Synth Skill 100 may be worth more, but I haven't checked that list in a long time.

So true. PS2 is the original system, and it definately works best. I hardly ever play on PC anymore, only if I'm traveling.
