Soooo I got this as a drop today and wanted to look up info on them since they seemed semi crappy. From what I gathered some believed there's a hidden effect on them but I couldn't find any threads on anyone giving tests on what they found. Now before I hear any "test yourself" my smn is 68 atm so I can't exactly equip them yet, but I'm curious.

I do want to do my own tests when I hit 71, but I wanted to see what other people have found so far and how they tested it, so I can figure out what tests I want to do for myself when I can actually wear them. I figured this was the best place to do it so please feel free to post your thoughts on them.

Everything I've read about them gave no conclusive evidence of any benefit; of course take that with a grain of salt, but from people I've talked to who had them it seems like there wasn't any amazing boost.

I was really struggling for decent mannequin footwear before I got my Mannequin Pumps quest finished. These helped out loads back then.

They have no real hidden effects, they're just ugly boots, which is very unfortunate.

someone swore up and down they had an effect and he did do some tests on KI... i dunno how much to believe of it because i personally dont have these boots,

I remember talking with LS mates about this before, one was a SMN who had been around for a long time and gotten a pair. At the time they were added, they were really good summoner feet because there wasn't anything else. Now they're just crap in comparison to what's easily available.

a smn friend told me that they sometimes reduce the mp cost of bloodpacts... i have no proof or evidence, they'd still suck in comparison to af2, but idk it might be true
