I saw, but then I saw it suffered from the same issues that PSO did.
-Too Short
-Buggy
-Sega still can't handle cheaters/hackers.
I'm going to play PSU, but mostly just when I have nothing else to do.
Played the beta for a couple of hours... but didn't really catch my intrest too much. Like said above, sega hasn't learned from their mistkes in PSO. I'd rather stick with FFXI
Its not really a game you would expect people to quit over...
Its in a completely different league in my opinion...
I got the JP Version of PSU. Having played PSO for several 1000 hrs back then - PSU was a great blast for 100 hrs now it got sorta boring and I cannot be bothered to log on. On the other side I am happy its not another hugh timesink.
The offline part of the Game has nice Story tho. Could classify as a full Offline game.
"Diablo 2 and throwing a few cents into a wish fountain everyday" should be an option, amirite?

Bad enough there is already a thread about PSU in General Topics.
I just asked some mods to have this thread moved to General.
On Topic: This game isn't worth the monthly fee. It should be free like Metal Gear Solid 3:Subsistence's online mode.
FFXI hiatus time when PSU comes out.
I think more people will be off playing ff12 than anything else.
looks like another fail for Sega lol.
FFXI and WoW are more than enough for me. PSU looks like shit, anyways >_>
I played it for like 3hrs online and got bored out of my mind :/
PSU doesn't look like it has enough meat to be played full time. It'll be a nice distraction when I'm getting tired of FFXI but I'm still too interested with what they plan on doing in the future of FFXI to quit yet.
So what's the monthly fee anyway?

PSU is utter shit.
If I take any haitus from FFXI it will be for all the offline games coming out soon. FF12 Guitar hero 2 FF3 all look really good... not to mention the wii is about a month away. PSU just looks like a colossal waste of time.
SEGA already said in many interviews that PSU won't have the biggest amount of content as people will think. But they said as the months go by alot more new content will be added and they will always be up to date on everything.
And as I recall, when FFXI came out in Japan before Zilart came out, there wasn't as much content in it either, they had to update more content in.
All MMO's are the same, they don't offer as much at first, but give them time they will end up being very big.
Thats why its sometimes better to wait a few months then play the game when tehres more experienced players on there and a more healthy guide to go by.
Or you can do it the fun way and find everything out for yourself. So i'm giving this game a chance. I tried the beta on 360 and I liked it, so i'm going to get the PC version.
I'll prolly play for 1 motnh and go back to FFXI or quit for PSU full tiem when I get a Ridill.
