At the following time, we will be performing FINAL FANTASY XI maintenance on all worlds. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable.

* The client software will also be updated at this time. Once this maintenance is completed, the client update will start automatically after logging back into FINAL FANTASY XI. Please follow the instructions that appear on your screen.

* You may receive errors such as "POL-1160" or "POL-0010" during the download process due to heavy server traffic. If you are unable to access the update, we ask that you please wait a while and then try again. Thank you for your help in making this a smooth version update.

* For the update details, please refer to "Topics" on the official PlayOnline.com web site or PlayOnline Viewer which will be available on Monday, Oct. 18, 2006.

Yeah 1 day notice is pretty weak. Though will just tell everyone to log @ fafnir on lsmes Hopefully it doesn't get killed till like 8:00-8:30 and weeee @ all the red dotting going on @ Fafnir tomorrow. Unless people got smarter in how to fix their bots offsets in like 30 secs of servers comming up.

Wouldn't doubt it given how much they love reusing models and stuff.

It wouldn't be too far fetched to reuse an entire expansion due to 'PS2 limitations'.

I have been leveing SAM for almost four months now barely 60... I'm glad I'll get to use the new abilities in exp and can't wait to /RNG but I wonder how much new competition for party invites I'm going to have after this update ._.
