Friend of mine was able to activate the quest. Wasn't based on assault, only on being up to date with Toau missions. Current hypothesis is you need to have beaten the BCNM on the Ashu Talif to access the new stuff. Friend was past that bcnm and could get it, I am at the bcnm and was unable to get it.

yea um.... we just tried it and....

craziest bcnm ever

you start off with 3-4 mobs, unsleepable fyi, after u kill those, 6 pop, after u kill the 6, 9 pop, after u kill the 9, 12 pop, and after u kill the 12, 15 pop

o and might i add, the mobs are extremely weak, our sam 1 shots them with a ws

so after we get up, we go kill the 15

next there is a brief break and it says we feel a heavy loot in our bag, and we look in our inventory and it gives us some meds to use in the fight

so in about 5 seconds this big imp appears, when the proceed to kill but, after 2 seconds he disapears, couple seconds later 1 baby imp pops, we kill it then 2 imps pop, then 4 imps pop, then after killing those we get another mesage about our loot

couple seconds later, 3 fomors pop along with 3 imps pop, then after killing those, 5 fomors pop with 4 imps, then after that 9 fomors with 4 imps, it came to the point where we wiped again and ran out of time

idk what to say other than this assault is insane and looks really hard lol the NM imp takes about 10% hp then warps out, he only showd up 2 times for us, idk if he has to do with winning it but. it was alot of fun

our pt setup was: whm nin drk/nin blm rdm and sam/war, each melee could solo 1 of em np, but when it came to 15 unsleepable mobs popping, they were killed in seconds. plz post any info u find

Maybe could Triple -ga the 15 Mob spawns if you manaburn it, since you report that a SAM WS can kill one?
