Is there any way to retrieve cached data on your computer? I found the folder in mozilla (about:cache) but the files there are all just gibberish. Does anyone have any idea how I can go about getting this info back?

I can't promise if this tool is safe/spyware free or if it even works..
But you could try http://www.progsoc.uts.edu.au/~timj/cv/
It asks to pay. >.>
That just searches caches saved by google, waybackmachine etc. Im looking for something that goes through caches saved on a persons computer.Originally Posted by Zigma
It says its shareware which usually means you only pay for advanced features.
I don't know, I tried downloading that program and running inside of VMware without registering it and it didn't seem to work, sorry to waste your time Kuno.

You can simply type about:cache into the browser to see what info that file contains.
