    Super Monkey Ball

Anyone have any experience with this series?
I always just thought it looked childish and silly, and would get old really quick, but I have been reading previews for the Wii version (Banana Blitz) and it looks like it could be a lot of fun.
    Any opinions or recommendations?

Multiplayer is almost endless fun, especially the minigames. One of the Gamecubes shining features.

Single player is fun until you've done it once, especially the hard version. After that, if you go back to try and play it again, you stop and think about it first.... then decide not to because it almost gave you an aneurism trying to do some of the courses.

Yeah really fun party/multi game. The single player seems fun... but mostly consists of wanting to pull your hair out. It really is the spiritual successor for Marble Madness. Difficulty and all.

My friends and I were super hooked to the original Monkey Target mini-game. We still have save files with high scores in the 5000 range.

lol I really liked super monkey ball for gamecube, especially the target landing minigame. Most of the minigames are pretty fun.

Single Player mode can drive you to suicide on some of the courses. Its fun the first time through...but definately no reply value imho. So frustrating at times, that once you do it, you never want to do it again.

Multi-player is great though. I have played Monkey Target with my 6 yr old son for hours without getting bored.
