question I have a walkure's mask but I've been having my nin use the hairpin. I noticed in your SS you used the mask (or probably the hq one). Does it seem to work out ok? <-lol lowbie mage gone melee question.

I go with pin on nin, and pop on walkure whenever the mob's not looking at me, and of course have it on my ws macro.

I want to stress how much we try to be there, in the middle of fighting Fafnir, someone will say POP- and we'll try to go but the mighty robots make sure we cannot leave until the dragon is slain or something like that Sometimes you just have to take one for the team, eh?

With the amount of gimp 360 players we got out dmging melee on rdm aint to hard on the low lvls, i don't see why you'd want to use dd gear on rdm past lvl 20 though.

Sad but true- I did most of RDM 1-30 soloing as much as I could, just because my n00b tolerance went critical.

And when people call on POP, we're just asking for a blessing against evil. Personal interventions fall under the category of documentable miracles.

Can sit back and shoot arrows in between nukes and casting dot on them. Maze of Shakrami > Korroloka Tunnel > Qufim is how I usually skip the dunes entirely. Any job with ranged attacks can fuck worms up easy.

Yeah, there's actually a nice "Solo path" as far jobs go for me, so I can basically say "fuck the Dunes".

Newbie monsters -> area around Port Windurst tower (gobbies/crabs) -> tower near Giddeus (gobbies/bats) -> Maze -> K-Tunnel -> Qufim.

Silence is brutal, or you can bow-dance at extreme range and clean up...my Thief essentially soloed to 28 the same way (and my WHM sat there when I had party flag up in the mid 20's too). Bloody bolts are basically "I win" too. Again, it was that utter revulsion at the idea of a Dunes PT. Valkrum is the den of Satan, haunted by the undead remnants of RMT's and n00bs who torment the living.

I've been soloing on BLU recently. Made pretty much all my XP while beating up on stuff for spells so far. Only Cursed Sphere that I haven't got before I can use it. Flys are pretty brutal solo.
