Reliable source at work tells me Target got their PS3s in. Deliver was handled by security only and are locked up. Bout that time to watch out for leaks i guess. Didnt really think about it, but we are less then 20days from launch.

This particular target doesnt have dumb asses running electronics, they are people I know. They know the gravity of what happens when you break those release SD contracts.

Wal-mart is REALLY bad with releasing games early, I know those people as well. They simply dont care. But with systems they usually make it a big deal not to do so. They make more money if they wait like the rest of the retailers.

If EB/Gamestop has them, we wont know for awhile. They probably are in our distribution warehouse right now. They will sit that way for awhile.

was lifted. imo b.c they are now shipped. Ebay has a policy against selling items that u dont physically have. Now you can claim you have it. Thats my theory btw

Pretty sure Target in minnesota is getting shafted on Wii shipments thanks to selling the DS light before the street date.

Breaking the street date on something as high-profile would not only get you fired instantly, but might even bring litigation against you personally by your former employer suing for breech of contract and even to recuperate lost money from fining/lack of supplies enforced as a penalty by the manufacturer.

Incidentally, I saw a listing on my local CragsList for a PS3 pre-order with 60GB HD for $3,500 CDN.

This happened with me with Final Fantasy 12 on Friday. They had it out in the freakin' glass case, but there was no price sticker below it. I was like "woohoo! I'm getting this shit early!", walked over to the chick behind the counter and told her I wanted something out of the case, got her to come over, she took the game out, went to ring it up... BAM, the computer says "cannot sell until Oct 31" or something to that effect and wouldn't let the transaction commence. BAH, bah I say. (I did just get back from getting it 30 minutes ago, though.. time to play)
