Technically sandman was ordinary at the point it would be if he was the one behind ben parker's death. In reality no, ben's death was pretty clear cut in the comic, the only thing related to it that came up later is that Ben Reilly (the spiderman clone) hooks up with this emo looking chick who seems rather hateful/obsessed with spider-man, because she was the daughter of the robber (ben's killer) who died when spidey confronted him.

Aside from the suit being not as smooth as I would think the symbiote would be I think it looks absolutely badass.

PS. I hope before they are done making these live-action marvel movies... they make at least one Spiderman and Wolverine cross-over.

i heard that the director of superman wanted the next movie to be superman + batman crossover. I guess if you fail at making one type of movie, throw another guy in there people like to attract an extra half of an audience.

It's funny, because, if that guy wasn't Uncle Ben's killer, then it wasn't Peter's fault, so he didn't cause Ben's death. So much for "great responsibility" amirite?

There's no Venom in this movie, I thought he was going to be it?

Im not huge spidey expert, I only watched the cartoon when I was younger, and im really not a fan of these movies, but when Parker gets taken over by the symbiote, thats just what it is, it's the 'dark spiderman', not Venom.

Venom is when the symbiote takes over Brock.

Correct me if im wrong, but Venom =/= Black Spiderman, and I dont see Venom in that trailer.


Edit: never mind ~_~ the trailer didnt buffer at the end, and I never saw the part after the 3 Logo. Ok, thats cool, Venom ftw.

Venom and "Dark Spiderman" are going to be in the movie. There was a rumor going around that Venom isn't going to be in the movie (as in appearing in the movie) but now from the trailer Lawls provided it shows Venom at the end.
