Calling all importers : Where are you getting your Wii ?

Where are you getting your wii's from? I can't find any good sites, probably because I was excluseively lik-sang'er :\

Any sites that are decent, and going to have a nice stock and reasonable shipping prices? I know I'm gonna end up spending close to 1,000 but oh well.

It's looking like I might have to get a PAL Wii unless I find a good lik-sangesque importer.

Defeats the whole point of wanting to import If I wanted PAL I'd go to the local store, I want NTSC so I'm not shat apon by release dates.

A couple old friends of mine always referred to the guy that imported their anime/game stuff as Shinji. After some digging, I determined that they were referring to the guy who runs AMOtokyo, which appears to have gone out of business since then. (amotokyo.com has been replaced with a lame search site).

I guess the importer business is going downhill, huh.

This is what VG+ sent out:

We are emailing you today about your Nintendo Wii preorder. We have finally been informed by our suppliers about our Nintendo Wii allocation. Unfortunately we have been told that we will not be given units for launch. Preorders were put up based on previous knowledge of getting units for launch. We have not been told when we will be getting units as the demand in North America for the Nintendo Wii has surpassed even Nintendos estimates.

We have also been notified we will be getting very limited quantity of the following due to shortages and allocations on the market. We will be filling orders best we can but can not guarantee shipment at launch for these items. Orders for the following will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

Just out of curiosity, I thought that the region system was for DVDs and the NTSC/PAL system was for consoles. Or more specifically, for TV input connections. Would a Wii have both a region number and a NTSC/PAL distinction?
