Want a life time taco bell?

The Mexican fast food chain is giving away $12,500 in Taco Bell Bucks in exchange to the first person who agrees to trade his or her new PlayStation 3. But this isn't a scam. Taco Bell officials note that the console will be donated to the Stanton teen center of the Boys & Girls Club (which will subsequently be broken into a robbed if PlayStation 3 history remains telling).

Interested PlayStation 3 owners should send their name, email and phone number to mailto:[email protected] email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it The first person to respond, based on the time the email is received, and then send their PlayStation 3 will be awarded the Taco Bell Bucks. Sorta a PS3 thread, but felt it was quirky enough for its own post. I'd totally do this if I had a PS3. Chalupas and grilled stuffed tacos, a never ending supply (relatively). In a year, you'll be able to buy a PS3 no problem anyways.

And before someone else says it

There was also that kid who was in line and gave up his right to ever own a PS3 in exchange for a $7500 computer or something like that

I would definitely do that if I had got one and hadn't sold it on ebay yet.

I'd do that too. Seems like a fair trade. (Well sort of. If you stood in line for several days to get one)

How do they enforce his promise never to own a ps3?

They really couldn't, maybe they just meant one from launch. Poorly worded it maybe?

I don't think any sane person would pass that offer up. Unless they had a $7500 computer already. D:

He had to agree to let them check-in every month to make sure he didn't breach the contract and purchase a PS3.

Legal contract, binding? I doubt it... No way they would legally be able to take back the computer

They only really say owning, rather than playing (which is only mentioned once in a hypothetical situation). How could they enforce your brother buying one and you playing it ? What if he moved, would they track him down and send a swat team down his chimney?

It sounds pretty unenforceable, unless the contract states they must gain access to the part of the house where the entertainment center is multiple times a year or he must pay $7500 in a legally binding contract.
