    Dual Demon Slayer or Devil Slayer

    Has anyone test dual demon slayer proc rate and devil slayer proc rate on imps ? Just wanna try this in Dynamis-XCB by the way.

    i doubt as BLU you would be tanking demons. even kiting them you would probably hardly see a difference. (i hardly had it proc with just one slayer against imps)

    I aimed for +74 evasion gears, right now around +60ish and +25 parrying. My both evasion and parry skills are capped. With Evasion Bonus job trait and Warm-Ups/Actinic Burst, I can tank the boss in Ashu Talif #3 for a very long time.

    How's 1 slayer against imp ratio ? Can anyone make a test of # of proc rate per 50 or 100 imp's attacks ?

    Hey did you ever try before say that ???
    BLU/NIN has kinda 8-9 spells to cover up what NIN or PLD has but we need MP.

    1. Warm-Up = Good evasion bonus for 3 minutes, ready at all time
    2. Feather Barrier = Greatly enhance evasion for 30 seconds, 2 mins recast
    3. Actinic Burst = Flash, greatly reduce accuracy for a short period of time, 1 min recast
    4. Filament Hold = 25% slow, equivalent to Hojo: Ni
    5. Feather Tickle = TP reduction, 1-2 mins recast
    6. Sandspray = Blind, equivalent to Kurayami: Ni
    7. Jettatura = Terrorize, hate spike spell, 2 mins recast
    8. Refueling = 10% self haste, reduce Utsusemi/Actinic Burst cast time, ready at all time
    9. Head Butt = Mini stun, 10 sec recast and low mp usage

    The only problem that you have is Enmity which you can ... Disseverment/Hysteric Barrage/Frenetic Rip to generate hate.

    Hojo ni is ~19% slow. Elegy is ~25%

    at least according to the reasearch I have read, this is in fact the case.

    Actually, sandspin, the level 1 blue mage spell, seems to be percentage based like sushi and 100% proc like Dia. It also stacks with blind because it's a raw "Acc Down" effect.
    It's really underrated and kinda useful in situations where you want max evasion. [BLU+THF duo Kreutzet, Chary, etc.]

    I'm not saying BLU tank is gonna work, because of many reasons, But it's not a bad "supplement" as you were listing.



    But that's a derail. If you want to contribute, Grab a sword, take 200 attacks from a DC Imp outside Nashmau, and enrich the community.

    It's not just that, the Damage rating is pretty high compared to other swords as well. Some BLUs love to solo imps (demons, like you said) all the time, so it would be well worth it for them.

    7. Jettatura = Terrorize, hate spike spell, 2 mins recast AOE CONE + SUCKS/RESISTS
    8. Refueling = 10% self haste, reduce Utsusemi/Actinic Burst cast time, ready at all time Waste of BLU points- easily replaced with (superior) haste
    9. Head Butt = Mini stun, 10 sec recast and low mp usage WIN

    The only problem that you have is Enmity which you can ... Disseverment/Hysteric Barrage/Frenetic Rip to generate hate.
    Cannonball probably better for hate grab with a defence build/food mixed with headbutts (with blu skill gear/merits) and supporting tanks. By using haste gear to minimize recasts, or MP gear to maximize your casting endurance you sacrifice enmity, and evasion- its not an ideal tank. BLU makes a better meat tank than an evasion tank- but pld/war sucks because it gets hit; and BLU fails for the same reason. In most cases PLD/NIN is superior, and for EVA tanking THF or NIN can do it better.

    edit: i was like the 4th NA BLU on gilg, and ive got homam and eva gear; BLU evasion isnt that great and eva tanking only works with a LOT of eva/skill gear. (ive got boxers, 4 eva merits, etc- and it still sucks)

    I don't own a sword. I'm going to spend 3M to buy Adaman Kilij and make that. That's why I am asking.

    That's not true. Theres always dmg done because it's magic but you can resist the effect. Just like how you can bad breath for damage but it resists the ailments.

    Maybe on Atomos server. :wink: (I know Carnage Elegy at least is like 38.9 or 48.9% Slow...) I know Hojo is in the teensish and both are static.
