Computer problem

I am trying to set up a static IP address on my computer except i have ran into a problem, when i go into the Network Connection under the control panel there is no local area connection icon and i cannot set it up to use a DNS server or a static IP: my ethernet is just from the mother board i have
(EPOC 9NPA3 Ultra) and the site doesn't really have any specific driver to set up but my drivers on my computer is Nvidia nForca networking controller

Use nForce drivers? Did a CD come with your mobo?

use nforce drivers. the chipset is nvidia.

usually the ones in the cd are horribly outdated, get them from the website (nvidia.com)
