They pretty much backed themselves into a corner with this plotline they were following. You can't send him to jail, so he has to win the case. You can't take his drugs away, because then he becomes a different person and the show isn't interesting.

Good that we are getting the focus off him though and he can return to being a cocksucker :D I know a few doctors that are like him personality wise, to patients it is fucking awesome, if it's to you though it sucks.

It was really anti-clamactic that the court case lasted a whole 1 episode. All this build up with tritter to get...this 1 episode. I feel robbed. Anywho, i LOL'd irl when House just walked out of the courtroom. Id be interested in what a judge would say irl if a doctor did that.

Because, you know, the last umm...season they have focused on the medical aspect of the show and still keeping a somewhat legality side story along with it. Continuing that would be UNPOSSIBLE! Just saying that having so many episodes of tritter trying to fuck house over, only to be ended after a 30 minute court hearing is disappointed. Seems like they could have pushed some real drama into it.

While it could've been a bit more climactic, they did get in all the "points" that had to be made to both House and Tritter. Not that House is going to take that into account much, I think for the most part he does know what the judge said, that he has better friends than he deserves. Maybe now he'll acknowledge it in front of them better, though. Legally, if they had gone any further into things there wouldn't have really been a way out, they had to cut it off there before it got into a huge press thing or it'd get too unrealistic for the show.
