I've got a MNK friend that's been clamoring for these for ages. What's the best way to camp it? Just bribe 12 friends for 24 hours? I haven't found a solid repop time on Sabotender Bailarina and mass-camping without a ToD sucks x-x

Pretty sure it's a charybdis-style pop timer. Just go run over the cactuses for a bit and it'll show usually.

just tell him to take a blm or rdm or something (or lvl a useless job himself), kill a couple PH, if it doesnt pop come back later.

Protip: fight it during daylight hours so it spams regen instead of 1000 needles.

12 Friends? 2 blms can duo it easily.

In fact, theres a zone right by its spawn. Any 75 job with Bio2 can probably solo it.

2 pro RDMs could do "ye ol Rapido" spam Poison 2 trick.



I have gotten at least 15 dune boots for people. It has *always* popped within the first 3 rounds of PH kills. I think it is on a 2 hour timer. Who knows.. no one ever camps this dude. So his window is almost always open, or he is sitting up unclaimed from someone's NPC binge.

Only flaw I've seen on these is that no one's confirmed it's a lotto spawn (wiki even says it's *not* a lotto spawn.

However, I'm a BLM myself, I can get some other Bio2 friends, perhaps we can work something out of this.

Definitely a lotto. I made the mistake of trusting websites that said it wasn't and wasted fucking hours checking on it. You can kill it with a regular party setup, he's not terribly hard.
