I've seen more Ridill drops than I've seen Marid Hair

I solo these fairly often on NIN and now I'm in an XP pt on them on PLD.

8k off Marids so far + easily over 50 other kills and I've only ever seen one hair drop, and I lost that lot.

Anyone else have this shit luck? I can't for the life of me understand why they're only 1-200k, if this is average then most likely more siren's hair drop daily than these.

They aren't worth much because they're only used in a few pieces of Jaridah and Sipahi, and a few other low demand itesm. Neither of those will ever fetch a high price due to alternatives.

idk about your server, but the HQ's are in pretty high demand on Fenrir (the Jaridah) which is actually why I'm looking for them.

It's a crap synth but I don't mind doing it if I'm not gonna lose money on NQ.

I usually get at least one if I go solo Marids on BLM. Not all that rare, though the price seems to have gone up a bit. Maybe they adjusted the drop rates.

Some synths on my server are break even for NQ and 400k profit for HQ and they sell fast. They go for around 50-60k

Drop rate is pretty terrible. I usually go 1/20ish. HQ turbans can be a decent moneymaker.

How many ridill drops, and how many marid hair drops have you seen?

I've been soloing Marids for the past few weeks, the droprate -seems- to be something around 1/20, give or take. The price dropped like a rock as soon as I started selling them, go figure >.> But I can usually get at least one to drop before I get bored and go kill stuff in sea.
