Aside from the scroll whoring everyone is posing about, a few of my japanese friends said that the maint was to fix a tool that gave a 100% hq rate to crafting. It is really funny how it was about the same time that the cursed dalm -1 and some extra dusk+1's hit the server. If they were serious about that being what the fix was for, thank god they fixed it because it's one hell of an economy buster.

And furthermore, if that was what the maintenance was for, then SE needs to be slapped for handling something like that client-side.

Price will go down though, on Warp2, Tele-Mea, etc. And it makes it more available. That doesn't really hurt anybody and doesn't monopolize anybody.
In fact, It doesn't block anybody else from completing it. I'm not AS opposed to RMT doing this for the same reason that I'm not totally opposed to them doing assaults. They're not hurting the player base. [as opposed to Ulli campers, which are]. If the RMT is going to be more benign and do non-interfering quests and AH Assault rewards and so forth, I hope they keep with that trend. Don't get me wrong, I'm against RMT as an industry and as a whole. But if they move to the background instead of right in your face camping your NMs, I'm happier.
