Loaded Hydras? Wtf...

In Dynamis Beaucedine last night we had a Hydra Blm drop 7 Whiteshells at once. I have *never* seen a mob in Dynamis drop that much before, ever. Has anyone else ever seen this?

I'll see if anyone took a SS of this from our run last night, I print screened mine since I don't use fraps & then forgot to copy it somewhere to save.

Seriously though, am I missing something or is that an absolute crazy occurence?

I've seen one drop 2 of each currency before, for 6 total. I didn't know it could go as high as 7, but I'm not shocked considering you can get 4 sometimes off normal mobs.

Highest I saw from a Hydra was 5. But 7? Damn..

Too bad they still suck fo farming.

Because Hydras can drop multiple types of currency at once, I think this is possible.

I've definately seen drops of like, 3x whiteshell 3x byne. So getting a 4x and 3x at the same time could result in a drop of 7. (or 2 + 2 + 3, etc)

Yeah we weren't farming them, we were just clearing a few pulls out of the way for our Attestation strike team.

I have a pic at home, but it was 7 of the same currency. All of them were byne bills I think.

Hydras do indeed have bigger loot tables than normal mobs, which is where the "omg hydras give more AF" rumor came from.

7 is the most i've heared of, 5 is the most i've personally seen.

hydra are fun and good farms when i use to do glacier

I'm just not a fan of farming them, they're a hassle to fight, the TE's for them are a pain in the ass to get to, they can't be slept, just better things to do with farming time in my opinion.

I have seen it once, but I didnt SS it, this was probably 8-10 months ago too.
