There are limits to this.

If someone is a guest in my house, I'm not going to let them take a crap on my rug, I'm going to throw him out when he starts to unbuckle his pants.

Admins here set up these forums as a courtesy, and we are guests here. People take advantage of their hospitality on a daily basis. I personally don't see anything wrong with what some might call heavy-handed punishment. If anything, I would say the mods are too lenient with some of the things that they tolerate.

With the opening of the new forums, the mods have gone through great lengths to make a new home for themselves. As guests we should respect that.
