ISNM - Compliments to the Chef Questions

I'm looking to get a Requiem Flute for my BRD, and have some general questions about this ISNM.

Firstly, what is the ideal setup? Do you need certain jobs, or can an average 3/3 party do it? Also, is there anything to look out for in terms of TP moves. Most people I know have 0 experience fighting Orobons.

Finally, drop rate on the flute?

Any 3mage/melee pt should be able to do it. It can be bound and gravity'd, not slept.


TP moves on top of my head were:
- throat stab kind of move
- High dmg 2-3shadows AoE
I think it had a bad breath thing..forgot, you should just check BC section on wikipedia, had a better description of the fight

Edit: Also, do you have to go through the Reef to get to the BC entrance or can it be reached through the Mire? I can't find anything on the map that indicates a one way drop.

BC entrance is where you got Cor quest final cutscenes. you can get it from Mire/west of nashmau.


When you end, make sure you take the right path, cause I've seen a whole PT zone by mistake in arrapago and lose their loot.

Lol reminds me of the first time my group won Steamed Sprouts back in 2004. We were all so happy that we won and got Erase and Phalanx to drop that we all zone out and started running back through Giddeus. Of course we forgot to lot the drops and wait for them to sort.
