MGS Portable Ops for PSP

I just picked this up, and I'm psyched to play it, but I noticed a region 1 symbol on the back of the box. I have a Japanese PSP, so I'm hesitant to open the game (Best Buy probably won't take it back opened). I didn't think the PSP had region encoding, but I thought I'd ask here if they'd started it up with this game before I open it and screw myself out of $30 for the game.

But I don't think there is a problem... I know a friend of mine bought a PSP game from the UK and it worked fine.

I went out and bought it before Target closed today,so far im enjoying it a lot.

the only regional lock on the psp is for the lolumd movies. Those were an utter failure so you should be OK.

I heard the game was good but the camera control was a bit rough.

They are like they were in the other MGS games,so far, but its easy to avoid it and just mash L or hold down R and just look around.

Man I need to pick up a copy of that for myself. Christmas has rendered my brain and munnies helpless. Perhaps after I recover from the slash and burn of my wallet I will go get it. Keep me posted on how it is, but not so much that I want to go out and pilage a game store.

I bought this game a few weeks back. Its good but I dont really like the converting enemies to your side feature. its not the fact that you can play in teams thats the problem... its dragging the enemies to the truck thats annoying. In some later missions you have to progress very far into the map before seeing anyone, and if you want to capture them enjoy the 10 minute drag-fest.

But overall its pretty fun to play, its nice to have one MGS thats not the AC!D style.

Uh... You only need to drag them to another team member after, like... The hospital mission (you should have received a codec scene). Just find a hiding spot further along in the mission, hide someone there, and then drag bodies to that person's box.
