Actually, PLD in HP build with A- skill in club, highest club skill in the game, would be the justification. souleater damage loss ignores invincible.

Still lol compared to a good DRK, or even a halfway decent DRK.

So the only downfall to Nin/Drk is no Bloodweapon

The way to stay alive is to cast a spell or two when your HP gets low to allow mages to cure you.
With the new way to obtain a Kraken Club, well you see this combo used?
This is the only other job combo that I see use for Kraken Club.
Any others?

I was simply stating, "Since Nin/Drk is a dominating tank....kraken club will be nice for gaining hate."

+20enmity and that much damage in 30 seconds would easily gain hate.

EDIT: Excuse me, thats without souleater. With souleater, its still crap. go sub /war like a normal person during xp. Don't worry about end-game, you'll never get a decent shell thats there.

Stating the obvious: The amount of hate built up by healers in your alliance spam curing your ass after you souleater as NIN/DRK w/ KC defeats the purpose of trying to build hate up that way >_>;;.

well if anyone is taking the thread seriously...


1) NIN have E in club, thats capped at 200 at 75. 69 skills lower then NINs A- weapon, Katana.

2) Souleater is gimped as a SJ.

3) No blood weapon.

4) DW actually slows KC down.

Few other reasons I can't think of atm, but that should be more then enough to tell you its a pretty bad idea. If you don't believe it, you can always learn the hard way.

Your better of just dual wielding katana's with SE rather than a kraken. Probably going to miss alot anyway with only a 200 skill and the damage will be mute at best...
