BG Chat Room

Well maybe it's just me, but has anyone else noticed in the last page or two of threads how these topics have been exploding into senseless (usually) chat that isn't quite related to the topic? Not that I'm bitching, but it is slightly annoying to go away for 15 minutes and be three pages behind in reading, only to find out it wasn't important.

Thus... I am proposing, and wondering, is there a way we could set up a BG chat forum some how? It seems that a lot of you enjoy talking with each other and I think it'd be a good way for more people to interact with each other at any given time. I know on my last LSs board we had one and it was pretty handy...

This is nothing more than a suggestion, of course. Any one else have thoughts or opinions on the matter?

We have an IRC java based one on our LS forums. No one uses it ever since they are busy playing FFXI most of the time, but it is there. Something like that maybe?

I would link to it, but our site would probably go down lol.

Maxx has proposed a spam forum several times. There is an IRC chat like that one guy said, and an AOL chat that 1337 people are invited to. If it's 'TLDR-able' then just skip over it! No one cares if you don't read several posts in a thread.

Well what I generally do is just skim most topics until there is a long post, because those seem to sum everything that has been said in the whole thing you know?

Or a post with alot of quotes.
