Gundam Musou(a.k.a Dynasty Warriors Gundam)

In North America, Koei’s Dynasty Warriors series has a cult following and the Gundam games released by Namco Bandai sell OK. However, both of these series are mega franchises in Japan. Now Koei and Namco Bandai are teaming up to bring together the two franchises into a crossover game in 2007. Gundam Musou brings together giant robots and mindless button mashing to the Playstation 3. No matter how ridiculous the crossover sounds this is a game that is likely to be a Japanese system seller. Gundam Musou is going to be the first “musou” game on the Playstation 3 and it looks like the only game that might tweak the series formula to have more of a focus on ranged combat.

70% finished, plan to release in 2007 spring. Anyone look forwards to it?

Hate the games personally but Gundam games do well in Japan and so does the DW series seems like a nice bit of cash for them.

Nice. I loved all the Dynasty Warriors myself, and I can never get enough Gundam. I've always wanted a gundam game though where there was honestly like.. 20 random Zakus out there I could blow the shit out of. This looks like the game that I can finally do that in.

My brother... he bought Dynasty Warriors 3 to 5... including their extra versions. Dont get me wrong I loved the games, alot of button mashin fun, but they seriusly need to get more creative already.

I love Dynasty Warriors but I dont like Gundam. I love how you can make your own characters in 5, it's so awesome. Man I need to go play more Dynasty Warriors now afk.

dynasty warriors is sooooooooooo fun so this game might be too. So far i've hated every single gundam game made so this should be a nice change.

I really hope dynasty warriors 6 isn't the same as all the others though. Taishi Ci ftw.

I liked Gundam vs Zeta Gundam and Encounter's in space but current the MMO gundam is my fave

I'm waitin on a new Dynasty Tactics. I think strategy games are underated. Anyway, the DWs were so addictive I stopped @DW4 expansion (Sima Yi ftw). Samurai Warriors was hott too and a nice change of pace.
