    Internets Broked ??

    Anyone else having any problems of having connectivity problems to certain sites ??

    Started for me last night or the night before, and I dunno wtf is wrong. I've checked my modem and router, and rebooted my PC's, and this keeps happening. Thing is, its not really killing my connection, because I'm not r0ing in FF at all, other than whitegate lag.


    Just curious if something happened somewhere in the world that would be messing w/ this

    Same thing happens to me while surfing BG. Usually I'd get this (image bellow) when submitting a post or a message then immediately after I'm unable to connect to the site.

    Thats out in Taiwan though, why would that affect a connection from eastern canada towards california ?

    The earthquake is doing this to everyone.
    It is doing it to everyone because your isp might be routing to affected earthquake areas. Since the route is gone, it'll have to take another route to your destination of your choice be it longer or not. You could try doing a tracert on the ip of your destination to see how it goes about routing through different ips.

    Because the internet is stupid like that, it's sometimes 'faster' to go all the way around the globe than direct from one city to the next.

    Im hooked up my modem directly to my pc...and im goin fine right now...
