Idk, just give him a straight answer. Its fine for fafhogg if your pld is worth a shit in terms of skill. If a pld/nin cant hold hate on fafhogg, they fail. I'd see pld/nin being viable for Nidhogg anyways. Fafnir...eh. Kind of a pussy mob that doesnt really need /nin. But still easily doable.

Sure it could be used but why? Fafhogg, KB and Aspid dont really hit hard enough to warrant going /nin and the fights dont last long enough to truly gain the hate potential of /nin.

I just like NIN/WAR best for Aspid or Fafhogg usually ._. Rather add damage to the mix then just have a pure tanking job in there

If the players are good, it really doesn't matter. From my LS, I've seen hmm... PLD/WAR, PLD/DRK, PLD/NIN, NIN/WAR, NIN/DRK, BRD/NIN all tank Fafhogg with np at all. Hell we've even had no 'tanks' and our WAR/NINs step into the breech just fine. Do whatever suits your LS.

PLD/NIN is good if played properly, but don't go and try and do it full koenig or anything retarded like that. You have to set it up like a NIN would, Enmity and Haste.

It's good for Aspid (anyone care anymore?) and Nid because they can hit hard, which leads to very fast loss of hate on its own. Wouldn't do it for KB because he really shouldn't be hitting you that much anyway.

Having said that, NIN/BRD is the ultimate hate tank. NIN/BRD with back up PLD/NIN for heavy hitting stuff works wonders - NIN main tanks, it's very hard to pull hate from, PLD/NIN can cover when AOE drops shadows on the NIN or when Terrored etc.
