Minor problem with those calculations is it takes ~70-80 attack (numbers vary with situation) to boost/reduce the damage delt per hit by 10 points, and even replacing every slot of haste gear with attack you're not going to get that much attack on most jobs (if any). It'd be more accurate to make it like a 3-5 damage difference between attack with 0 haste and attack with 20% haste, which would put haste way ahead with the numbers you mentioned.

In addition that's not even counting the larger number of weapon skills you'll produce.

Ah thanks Ruke, it was a simple hypothetical case I popped out into notepad so I didn't take into consideration the actual viability of the examples.

I'd expand on the example a little more but it'll get significantly more complicated when we step into the horrible mire of sushi vs. meat, madrigal vs. march for optimization purposes. o__O
