    Good video editor?

I made lolthis http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8f3OBLUT1Q with Windows Movie Maker and found it to be a pain. Are there any video editor buffs that can recommened some software? I can find a crack if its a paid version, etc, so anything shouldnt be a problem.

Another thing I would look for in the software would the abiltity to edit any other movie file. I have a few .avi's that need some stuff taken out. Saving movies in Movie Maker is a pain too, .wmv and little codec support.

    Thanks.

I don't edit any videos to speak of but getting a hold of Adobe Premier should be really easy, and its expensive so it must be good for something.

I use virtualdub for most of my stuff. It can add clips together and encode just fine, but it's a bit more difficult if you want to add effects or transitions and such however.

Ive had VirtualDub for quite some time, I used to fansub with KAA and HQA as a loltimer and setter, but with newer codecs and subtitling, it has failed me.

Ill take a look at Adobe as I tend to like their products.

i always used vegas to do the actual editing, then virtualdub to do the final encode.

Well since everyone else is doing it...

I've made all my videos with Windows Movie Maker, but have been looking for something else, because what you can do with WMM is pretty limited.

iMovie, Final Cut Express, Final Cut Pro.

From amatuer to prosumer to professional.

Course, gotta be a Mac guy to use them...

(I'm actually excited Adobe is coming back to the Mac with Premiere, so Apple will have some competition for FCP and video editing will be made even better than it is now!)
