POL crashes with Vista, help;;

this fucking sucks;;

installed vista over my windows xp and now POL wouldnt start and shows this messege..
i reinstalled it 4 diffrent times, reinstalled pol again on a diffrent partition still getting this though

Don't install over, use a seperate HD. My network card drivers wouldn't even install.

the reason i installed over it was cause my xp copy was on the last day of either activation or expiring again on me..lol@me

couldnt get it to crack so i got vista for the time being...big mistake and im not gonna buy xp since vista is coming out soon anyhow

Yeah I put Vista on my spare HD. Honestly you can't run ALOT of programs, i'm not to fond of it ATM.

Disable the user level access rights using msconfig(i think last tab going from memory)

btw, if its the old CD set you do need the new pol. I just run 2 pc's and copy the pol.exe right over the top of the vista one after the updates, and tada no problems.

I was honestly looking to grab a copy and load it, but if it's this buggy I'll stick to XP until 2009 THEN buy it.

I've usually Beta Tested most of the OS's that come out of MS, and while they enjoy crashing with all the crap I throw at them. They usually run the software that I do load.

And lol at the problem details.
