    The Green Mile

So I just saw this movie for the first time tonight and man, it was good.

I can honestly say I'm sorry for not seeing it much sooner when it had come out. It is overflowing with interesting ideas that can be analyzed in any number of ways. I chose to allude most of the elements to Biblical occurences. The most notable is when he is on his way to death and he is telling the guards not to be afraid... almost identical to Jesus before his execution. I don't know really, but I loved that movie..

What did everyone else think of it, and how'd you choose to interpret it?

I thought it was a good movie. What do you mean by interpret though? It was pretty straightforward.

Very good movie. I saw it in theaters when it came out years ago. Bought as soon as I could too. It has so many great chariters, good story, and just keeps you intersted in it til the end.

To interrupt it... meh, I took it for what it was. A story. Didnt really look into it, do that to much, and you will miss something, normally the enjoyment of the movie.

I cried during the Notebook, but if there is one movie that can make anyone cry it's A Walk to Remember. That movie is sooooo sad. Life as a House is REALLY sad too. I bawled during both of those. Great movies, but they're really depressing haha.

I thought it was really good, but it ain't anything i'm gonna overanalyze.

Definitely one of stephen king's best books/movies along with shawshank redemption (funny how a horror writer's best pieces are some other than that) and i can only wonder what he'll come up with next.

The entire film is just a drawn-out way of saying Jesus = Black. Obviously.

Green mile was really good. I cried. The notebook on the other hand, I cried so hard when I walked out of the theater my shirt was wet from tears.

A friend and I went into see the notebook the same time our husbands went to see some dick flick. When we walked out, they were waiting and got a good laugh at us with our faces all red from crying!

I have yet to get my husband to watch the notebook. LOL

Good movie with great actors playing the roles, i've heard the book is much better though. I meant to read the book in high school but i never got around to it, and im too lazy to go to a barnes and nobles just to look for it.

Loved the Green Mile. I'm not a religious person in any sense of the word, so I didn't see any biblical interpretations, or any interpretations for that matter. Might be that I just read too many fantasy books, and it was like "Oh hey look. A guy that can cure people through some weird method."

I cried during the Notebook, but if there is one movie that can make anyone cry it's A Walk to Remember.
Never seen The Notebook, but I watched A Walk to Remember with my brother and a friend. Don't believe I cried, although I will agree that it is an incredibly sad movie. But there were scenes where me and my brother were laughing our asses off. Partly cuz of the movie, and partly cuz of the observations of our friend.
