Is it worth it?

I seem to have lost my memory card and i was close to the end of the game (had just beaten Cid at the research facility). So i was wondering, is the ending worth starting over?

You can probably guess what the outcome of the story will be, so it comes down to how much you want to watch the CG movie sequences. If you leveled your characters enough to do any of the high-end hunts, the final fights are trivially easy, so don't do it for the challenge.

i think people have done pretty quick runs of the game avoiding all sidequests in under 30h....... and could still do better...

i havnt completed it yet due to no time to play, but i heard the ending was pretty good

if u just wana fly through the game u could use the power level walkthough on gamefaqs. It shaved alota time off for me at least my 2ed time playing it just because i was in a rush.

i wasn't impressed by the ending cinema, the opening one was much more impressive. But, it's worth seeing still.

Yes its worth it.

Though short, the story was pretty decent, and i was plesently suprised at the ending CG and final boss.

I thought the final segments and ending were done pretty well. It's worth it. The final boss' likeness is especially interesting considering how much SE tried to depart this game from the rest of the FF series, imo.

Balthier owned the ending up and down though, as he did with the rest of the game. My only complaint about the ending is the game's theme song being played behind the events happening in the final cutscene seemed a bit out of place.
