Anyone else having problems with Playonline/FFXI?

I got really weird errors (empty friend list with JP characters on top, error 5452, "Submaster" status for my account, etc.) and still can't log back in, is it just me or someone else is having the same problems?

I haven't even been able to log in at all today. Apparently the problem is being looked into. So I'd give it another day for results.
