I kept my expectations pretty low. I'm still disappointed. Even the big letters special announcement turned out to be a cringy live action movie.

That relationship seems kind of forced to me since there wasn't any real romantic development in the entirety of this series other than Orihime pining after Ichigo the whole time and never confessing to his face (a la Hinata to Naruto). Cuz even if she wasn't in the picture for like 10 years Tatsuki was in the same position as Orihime other than one or two battles fought together.

I'm gonna be salty about it for a long time personally. I did not at all like the final arc and put up with it just because I knew it was eventually going to end. I also wanted to see a bunch of unused Bankai and stuff.

Not only did I mostly not get that, it didn't even really end. If I had known it was going down this route I would have stopped reading it after Aizen was defeated.

Not bothering to read the spoilers till the final chapter is out to read, but all in all even if it has a rushed ending, really enjoyed the TYBW arc, was a really great finish to Bleach, enjoyed it much more then Fall of Espada, but might be because I went through the entire arc at once instead of reading a chapter a week.

I actually did stop reading then cause well it felt over like a good place to end. I mean that would be a perfect way to end... or at least at the part where he finally finishes losing his powers. Plus the whole no anime adaption thing (unless you count the lolfullbringer arc) made me leery. But then I read about all the new bankaiing and stuff and started up a bunch of the way thru and was just as disappointed as I thought I would be when I quit lol. I'll still probably go read thru the stuff I missed though

This year's 38th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is revealing on Monday that Tite Kubo's Bleach manga is getting a live-action film adaptation that will open in Japan in 2018. Sōta Fukushi (live-action Toshokan Sensō/Library Wars' Hikaru Tezuka, live-action Strobe Edge's Ren Ichinose, live-action Kami-sama no Iu Toori's Shun Takahata) will star in the film as Ichigo Kurosaki, and Shinsuke Sato (live-action Gantz, Gantz II: Perfect Answer films, Oblivion Island anime film) is directing the film.

Gentaro Kisaragi from Fourze is gonna be Ichigo.
