Personally didn't want to continue the dbz debate as well but I wanted to correct them with my last response. Thus again in response to Kuno's long winded response I have no clue who's ass he pulled that from. As I've never seen Gohan not capable of finishing a fight because he "doesn't have the endurance."

Gohan wasn't the strongest. He just had the potential to be the strongest. He didn't train like Goku so he never achieved that level of power outside of a few cheap tricks throughout the series.

Wasn't Mystic Gohan a lot more powerful than SS3 Goku? And I would assume SSJ Mystic Gohan would be more powerful than SS4 Goku..

Just seems like full power super Gohan never got used because the series would be really short. Gohan enters -> kills enemy in one shot -> spend rest of the season watching the Great Saiyamon fighting bank robbers.

As for Bleach:

I still want to know what the super hollow is... His inner self is "white", which suggests perhaps a quincy/shinagama base to the creature, that's been infected. So who is the shinagama that's been infected/taken over by a vasto lorde? And did they transfer the infection to Ichigo's mother and thus onto Ichigo?

And why would you think Humans in DBZ have higher potential? You can't just make stuff up and then wonder why people don't get it lol.

Didn't say humans had a higher potential I said half breeds did.

And the analogy worked rather well, you're not thinking abstract enough. Endurance wasn't really so much the point as it was maximizing potential.

IIRC Toriyama wanted Goku out of the series after Cell. He was trying to return the series a little more to its roots after the time skip, with Gohan as the main character. All the stuff about Gohan being the most powerful was supposed to be set-up for this transfer.

But people didn't like the adventures of teenage Gohan the Saiyaman, so Goku comes back and becomes the main character again. Meanwhile, Gohan became comparatively weak because he hasn't trained.

But then the whole Buu crap goes down and Gohan's potential gets unlocked. At that point, Gohan is supposed to be the most powerful single non-fusion (including Buu eating people as fusion) character in the series. However that quickly becomes irrelevant when Gohan gets eaten and we have Vegeto and Gotenks running around at SSJ3.

(The mystic form is Gohan at max potential strength - he doesn't use SSJ/SSJ2 after because his full potential is already unlocked at that point)
