    Golden Globes 2007

    Babel over The Departed.

    Forest Whitaker in the Last King of Scotland (wtf he's an amazing actor but that movie sucked) over Leonardo DiCaprio in The Departed and/or Blood Diamond.

    Eddie Murphy in Dreamgirls over Jack Nicholson in the Departed.

    Grey's Anatomy over 24/Lost/Heroes.

    Alec Baldwin in 30 Rock over Steve Carell in The Office.

    you've probably heard this somewhere before but... the original HK version of "the departed" is so much better it's not even funny

    what's even more outragous is the fact that scorsese won director's for it, while 90% of the hollywood version uses the exact same settings/plot/character models and even the friggin camera angles as the original... where the hell is scorsese's work in this anyway?

    Forest Whitaker should win a Golden Globe (and an Oscar), but as a supporting actor. His character was not the main character of The Last King of Scotland.

    However, The Last King of Scotland was slightly more interesting than "Blood Diamond", so don't get all bunched panties about that.

    Oh, and Alec Baldwin wins. Always.

    I honestly don't care is all Scorsese did was attach his name to the damn thing, he better win a oscar for it considering how many times he's been cockblocked by the academy.

    Though Jack playing Jack doesn't deserve winning an award...really, he was an inch away from ruining that movie.

    Also, let's remember that the Golden Globs are the worst awards in terms of reputation...those foreigners have made some really scewy decisions in recent years.

    hmm, yeah, you know, I love The Office, but Alec Baldwin > Steve Carrell. Any day of the week. The Office > 30 Rock, though. By far.
