Macro Folder location & can it be copied to a new PC?

Bought another computer and just finished installing FFXI. The thought of having to redo macros on the new PC is rather bleh though.

I've never messed with the files so I don't know if my question is even possible. Can someone who knows, please tell me if I can just copy the old macro files onto the new PCs, and if so where are the files located at in the folders?

    Program Files\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\USER

I think... another smart way to keep most of your macros in tact is to make them into scripts then save the script folder in mytempdir or something.

Do I just copy over the whole user folder?

I assume you could find the folder pertaining to the character you want to keep but I think that would take more time than you want to put in so yeah why not.

I've done this like 5 times now, and yeah I'd recommend copying the entire folder.

In addition to copying your macros it also copies just about all the information about your character that's client side. Copies your inventory arrangement, your map markers, AH sort settings, some of your configuration settings, etc.

And your custom chat colors! Very important to me cause it just looks wrong if I set them to something different.

Same lol.. I spent like 20 minutes adjusting chat colors on a mule I often use just so it was more like what I'm used to.

is there any way to make the default guest login set to never time out?

I always forget and turn around 22 minutes later and see i got auto logged.

It's always on by default as far as I've seen.

Have to turn it off for each character you log on.
