A question on silly looking blm hats

So I recently got a nashira turban (damn feet failed to drop ), and I'm wondering how it stacks up against NQ elite beret for a magic accuracy setup.

Generally I've assumed ele skill and macc are pretty interchangable, and the sundry other stats the turban give tend to swing my opinion toward that.

What do those of you without relic hat find works better?

I don't have the turban, or AF2 hat, but as I understand it MACC = the same number in skill. Nashira Turban has 5 MACC on it, Elite Beret +1 has 5 ele skill, and Turban, as you stated, has a few gimmes (plus it means you could sell a beret if you had one) so I would definitely use it over the Elite Beret.

I have the Turban which I originally got for my RDM, a week later I ended up with duelist's chapeau, but I did some testing, and its basically 1 to 1 enfeebling to macc. I now only wear turban on BLM, which its awesome for. I'm not blm main, but it seems to me that 1 skill is around macc. Its especially useful/potent on aspir/drain, my numbers are much more consistent and higher wearing it than without. IMO sell the beret, the only thing I have against it is that i'm elvaan and it looks retarded, but then again... I look pretty much retarded no matter what I do.
