    Nyzul Isle Data Records

Admin Edit: Please do not post speculation in this thread (go to this one). Post only the floors you reached, # tokens earned, etc.

Please post information about your runs here.

Total # of Floors: Looks like 100, definately at least 96.

    # of Tokens earned per Floor: Formula Unknown, however it's possible to have your token amount "reduced" if you kill certain mobs when instructed not to (typically Archaic Gears). Also, the person who used the IS Armband to enter the Assault will get 10% more Tokens than everyone else for a successful mission. Note that this person can be different from the one selects the starting Level and has their data recorded.

    Time Limit: 30 Minutes

Price (in Tokens) to start at higher Floors:
500 Tokens to start at Level 6
550 Tokens to start at Level 11
    Higher Floors unknown

    Objective Types

    1. Defeat all Enemies

    Kill everything to clear floor.

    2. Defeat all Enemies, Avoid Archaic Gears

Kill everything except Gears to clear floor. Aggroing gears will impose pathos which remain until the floor is cleared. Possible Pathos:

    Ninjutsu Restricted
    Weaponskills Restricted
    More (Please let me know)

    3. Defeat the Enemy Leader (single)

Kill a specific mob to clear the floor. This is typically a "normal" mob (i.e. not a NM) which cons as "Impossible to Gauge." Note that other "normal" NMs on the floor will drop chests with ??? treasure, but these NMs are completely optional.

    4. Defeat the Enemy Leader (multiple)

We only encountered this once, but there was a floor that had 5 Impossible to Gauge Psycheflayer mobs which had to all be defeated to clear the floor.

    5. Light the Lamps (single)

Find the Lamp on the floor and have all party members examine it to "register" and clear floor

    6. Light the Lamps (simultaneous)

Find the Lamps and light them all simultaneously. Additional conditions may apply (still figuring this out)

    7. Light the Lamps (certain order)

nobody knows how this works yet. Activating one lamp can cause other lamps to turn on/off. A certain order is required to get all lamps on and clear the floor

    8. Light the Lamps and clear all mobs??

This was reported. This probably applies if you get the "All the lamps are lit, but there must be an additional requirement to clear the floor" message.

    Other Random Notes

There appears to be an Archaic Rampart on virtually every floor.

We should also compile data on what monsters appear on which floors for people, make a list of where to expect which NM.

That mob list is about half the total mobs, it seems like huckster only quoted the interesting sections.

Floor 1: Activate all lamps (everyone hit one lamp)
    Mobs: Wild Karakul, Manticore, Marid
    NMs: Gargantua (??? Necklace)

    Floor 2: Eliminate enemy leader
    Mobs: Draugar
    NMs: Oriri Samariri (Poroggo)

    Floor 3: Eliminate all enemies
    Mobs: Archaic Rampart, Puk, Wyvern
    NMs: Asphyxiated Amsel (??? Ring)
Emergent Elm (not sure if it was an NM)

    Floor 4: Eliminate all enemies
Mobs: Death Cap, Archaic Rampart, Leshy, Puktrap
    NMs: Jaggedy-Eared Jack (??? Necklace)

    -------

Floor 1: Eliminate specified enemy (Mousse)

    Floor 2: Eliminate specified enemies
Mobs: Ebony Pudding, Draugar, Tainted Flesh, Bhoot, Archaic Rampart

We didn't know that "specified" means Impossible to Gauge, so no idea which it was. Ebony Puddings suck for a TP burn party.

    1st run
cleared 2 floors and left due to time, got 280 token with 6ppl
a gear mob gave us the job ability pathos

    2nd run
cleared 4 floors and timed out on 5th
on last floor had the mission "kill all enemy and avoid gear mobs"
agroing gear mobs gave us -1min to our time

  7. #7

When you agro a gear and your not supposed to. White magic was restricted for us. And we also got status downs. We got STR down and DEX down. Not all on same run or floor tho.

Highest floor we got to was Floor 6. Forgot what objectives were but is was pretty random from the list from the first post. Only got Activate Lights in Certain Order tho, three times. Different runs.

Another possible pathos is No White Magic, which is the gayest thing ever when you have to kill all the mobs on the floor.

When I got avoid gears, when someone aggroed one, we got a message saying potential # of tokens was reduced. (not sure exact message, but something along those lines =x no pathos)

  10. #10

When we killed a gear it reduced time remaining by 1 minute.

Avoid gears basically seems to mean "get ready to fight a fuckton of gears, and you can't avoid it so don't even try, but hey we'll be happy to punish you for it".

At least in my admittedly very limited experience.

Still, better to kill then be like "shit we aggrod, don't kill it!!!!"

Pathos hit us with No Songs

Sounds like the penalty for killing the gears varies then.

When my group killed them we got a small reduction in coins won after we killed each one. It was only like 100 coins less after we killed about 5-6+ of them. I don't think we actually got any pathos on us til the next floor, or I could have just missed it til then.

we got No Summoning magic and DEX down pathos lol..

  15. #15

    some pathos iv gotten include:
attack speed down (effects only attack speed, not magic cast time or recast time)
    str down
chr down (im assuming since another person posted dex down you can get a random stat down as a penalty)
    songs restricted
    WS restricted

  16. #16

    I've gotten black magic restrictions...

Boy did that hurt with 2 blms in the pt

For the defeat specified enemies it's always the regular mobs that will con ITG, It does NOT include the actual NM's that drop things

specified enemies is a mob of a certain type and it can suck

on the 2nd floor we had to kill 4 psycheflayer NMs which were extremely tough with a set up of RDM, WHM, 3 NIN and MNK. took us 20 min, 4 deaths to clear the level so we just exited afterwards.

anyways those psycheflayers ruined the run, they cast ice spikes and cant be dispelled even with ES from a RDM. aoe curse, magic shield, some other crazy stuff too. GA3 spells were owning us.

During last nights 2 runs, we got ninjitsu restricted twice, when going up a floor. Having no shadows for 2 entire floors with 4 melees in party really sucked. Hadnt killed any gears, but had killed the rampart that was floating about. Whether these are linked, im unsure.

Cleared Floors 11->17 (7 floors, still had 10mins left but we decided not to risk it)

    With tag bonus: 1201 tokens
    Meaning... 1091.8 without assault tag

(incase someone trying to come up with a formula for tokens <.<)

Edit: Also OP is incorrect, the person who buys the 50IS assault tag gets the 10% bonus, not the person recording data.
