Again, I chose something to benefit my WHM so I went for Magnetic. Ethereal would certainly have been nice, especially for my Greatsword build on DRK. I suppose I'll have to settle for Assault + Brutal for my Greatsword build and Abyssal + Brutal for Scythe build.

How does Ethereal work with Dread Spikes? I'd imagine you would still get the MP but you just wouldn't lose HP. Can anyone confirm?

I like my hollow. Best Acc earring available. Good DoT for RDM solo also, plus helps land demon arrows.

I went with Ethereal because, quite simply put, it does something which nothing else can do. Converting damage taken to MP is really awesome, and useful for some of the jobs I have, and plan to level.

I'll probably go Magnetic. Magetic/Loquacious seems to be the best all-round earring choice on white mage. The other earrings don't do so much for me. Attack or accuracy on Hollow or Ethereal seem moot when I can just buy something with similar numbers. Convert Damage to MP is nice for paladin, but I haven't even unlocked the job and haven't much interest in face-tanking things.

Ethereal mainly for my Drg and Nin. HP is nice for Smn as well.

Ethereal for my PLD, but I can prolly use it situationally for my up-and-coming MNK and NIN too.
