    Sony Vaio Desktop
    Linksys Network Everywhere Router
    Terayon Cable Modem
    Time Warner Roadrunner NY

R0 in Ru'ann Gardens and Fort Ghelsba

Issue is not present if I do not use my router and plug the modem directly into my CPU (but then I get housemate agro).

    Qufim

All the ones I've found so far, I've been trying not to venture too far, or to zones that don't have a zoneline I can walk to in order to escape.

2 Custom built pcs... Dlink router, live in NJ using Opt online...

Dead zones: nyzul assault area, qufim island, ro maeve.

(Problem in Nyzul only occured when connected to the router, when I connected straight to modem, Nyzul was working) Didn't test that in qufim or ro maeve however, but perhaps the router is messing things up.

Not my problem, but a friend's who doesn't visit BG. Figured it might help add to the data collection:

    Eastern Altepa Desert
    Sauromugue Champaigne
    Garlaige Citadel

    PC
No router, just direct connect into the cable modem (Netgear).
Not sure on his provider, but he has cable internet and lives in northern California.
Two other friends live within an hour or so of him and have experienced no issues.

Xbox 360 (though I logged in from an underpowered PC laptop i just use to garden on the road to try and get unstuck, and had same issue on it too)
    linksys router
    Comcast cable in Atlanta, GA

    dead zones found so far:
    Ru'Lude Gardens
    {Sea}
    South Gustaberg
    Hall of Transference - Holla
    possibly many more.
    edit: add Lufaise Meadows >.<

I managed to zone/die+HP to get out of the first three areas, but got perma stuck in Hall of Transference with no means to escape. Removed the router and reset everything and i was able to load the zone and leave. Did not encounter any dead zone without router, but didnt experiment much and put router back into my setup shortly after. crossing fingers ever since.

Might be worth noting that this fluctuates. On Friday I R:0 in Uleguerand Range and was fine in North Sandy. Saturday all known area's we're fine including Ule Range. As of Monday, see above.

I play on the PC, on both my laptop and my desktop.

My dead zones so far are:

    Port Bastok
    Port San d'Oria
    Bearclaw Pinnacle
    Eastern Altepa Desert
    Western Altepa Desert
    Batallia Downs

I get the r0 bug with both my laptop and my desktop on my home connection, but if I log on my neighbor's unsecure wireless on my laptop, I can get myself through the zones just fine (I did this twice, once to complete an ENM at Bearclaw Pinnacle, and again to get myself out of a dead zone somewhere).

    - HP Pavilion a1730n (Windows Vista)
    - Comcast Cable
    - Located in Everett, MA (2 miles north of Boston)
    - No router currently in use.

    Dead Zones:
    - Lower Jeuno
    - Port Bastok (Fixed temporarily, broke it by typing "/sea")
    - Monarch Linn
    - Altar Room (inside Oztroja)
    - Zi'Tah
    - Batallia Downs
    - Windurst Woods
    - Newton Movalpolis
    - Qulun Dome

Confirmed Working: Art Urghan Whitegate, Azadaal Undersea Ruins, Bhaflau Remanants, Lebros, Mammol Ja Training Grounds, Halvung, Bhaflau Thickets, Ilrusi Atoll, Arrapago Reef, Mount Zhaolym, Caedavra Mire, Pequira, Jade Sepulcher, Xacabard, North San d'Oria, South San d'Oria, East Ronfaure, West Ronfaure, La Theine Plateau, Jugner Forest, Valkurm Dunes, Metalworks, Bastok Mines, Bastok Markets, Port Jeuno, Al'Taieu, Sealion's Den, Tavnazia Safehold, Misareuax Coast, Sacrarium, Riverne Site #B01, Qufim, Boyahda Tree, Meriphataud Mountains, Tahrongi Canyon, Castle Oztroja, Buburimu Peninsula, Yhoator Jungle, Yuhtunga Jungle, Sea Serpent Grotto, Norg, Oldton Movolpolis, Gusgen Mines, Konschtat Highlands, North Gustaberg, South Gustaberg.

Attempted Remedies: Reloading POL, restarting PC, /release & /renew IP, unplugging modem, adjusting POL Network settings, various combinations of the above - none have helped as of yet.

Warning: Entering certain areas poses an additional risk. Upon exiting mog house, you may enter into a dead zone. If you changed your main job while in mog house, you will recieve a prompt asking if you wish to set your home point. IF THIS OCCURS, YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO MOVE OR ACCESS ANY MENUS OR COMMANDS. The only way to fix this is to have a friend log on to your character (or use another computer/console) and move to a safe area.

Additionally, various zones will initiate cutscenes upon entry. While this varies widely depending on quest and mission status, some of the more common ones are Eldieme Necropolis, Garlaige Citadel, Crawler's Nest, Qulun Dome, Oldton Movalpolis, Altar Room and Monastic Cavern... the easily "forgettable" Beastman Cap and Escort quests...

  17. #17

R0 Zones (that I know of...):

    - Sauromugue
    - Apollyon
    - Ru'aun Gardens
    - Crawlers Nest
    - Port Sandy

I play on PC (Dell XPS) primarily, but have experienced the problem on both PC and PS2. Same zones for both.

    Router: D-Link WBR-2310
    Modem: Motorola SB5120
    ISP: Comcast (cable)
    Where: Watertown, MA

Also, I tried resetting router, modem, PC, etc. and none of those methods helped the R0 issue. However, connecting my PC directly to my modem (no router) allowed me to be without problems in a zone I had previously R0'd in. I didn't have time to check if any different zones R0'd me with this configuration though, as I've heard this may be the case.

    Zones:
    Port Jeuno
    Tahrongi Canyon
    Meriphataud Mountains
    Probably more

I live around Plano, Texas; ISP is Time-Warner (RR).
Currently using a Linksys BEFSR41v4 router.
Custom PC with a Intel(R) 82566DC Gigabit Ethernet adapter.

    R0 Zones I've Encountered:
    Yhoator Jungle
    Ru'Lude Gardens
    Port Jeuno

(the limits of this list does not preclude R0'ing in other zones)

    Shaw Cable (Vancouver Island, BC)
    Motorola SB5101 SURFboard Cable Modem
    Linksys 4-port hub
    Hawking Technologies HBB1 Broadband Booster
ASUS mobo, Athalon 3500+, 2 Gigs RAM, ATi X1600 gfx card, Windows XP

Just tried doing a direct connection from my modem to PC, didn't help. Neither did releasing and renewing my IP while still directly connected.
