WS glitch or ...?

Ok, since I know both the people in this screenshot well, and I have NO desire whatsoever to start cross LS drama especially when I am not online that much I am the only leader of my LS who posts here often and I'd just like to see if other people can inform as to wtf is going on.

Again, no drama, I'm not calling WTF HAX, I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation for this, I just wanna know what it is.

In the following pictures notice that there is no lag and filters are off so this is not the result of Meikyo Shisui or Meditate, they are concurrent WS's fired off at the same time:

Was the chat log flowing smoothly the entire time you were in aery, or was it stalling then jumping, stalling then jumping with sudden bursts of lines?

Isn't this a really old glitch? Seen a thread here about it before, but it had like 7 WS going off.

I seem to recall a series of posts on the old BG with similar results: pics of things like triple sidewinders on Fafhogg. I think the conclusion that people reached was a strange case of display lag, and that only one of the WS' damage numbers were actually being registered on the mob despite what the chat log says.

100% smoothly, no jumps so I don't really know what to conclude from it all lol.

Also, another clue to look for is... do any of those WSs that are together in the logs SC with each other? If they really happened next to each other in real time, you might have seen a SC in the logs, too.

If two of those WSs SC together, but nothing shows in the logs of it, then it could just be lagged output to the log.

Probably is some kind of lag, did you ask the people who fired 3 ws at once?

Yeah someone find the old thread with 8 WS in the log, and the damage from the rest of them don't actually count against the mob.

i have a feeling this will end up in the BG forum database. but seriouisly there is no evidence they didnt 2hr. i really dont use filters much, but is there a posibility you may have blocked out job abilities?

Consecutively fired would've created opportunity for WS and would've been interrupted by Fafnir taking a shadow / other melees swinging / casting etc

concurrent (all fired in the same motion) would not SC together, like people rampage > jin not SCing on puks because they fired too closely together.

I'm sure it's just a glitch, I just mainly wanted to know if others noticed it / the LS of the members noticed it. Not calling hax at all but if it's a glitch on mobs other than Fafnir I'd like to know lol.

Seems that it's a glitch got my answer quickly that's all I wanted to know lol, gonna go eat dinner, I'll respond a bit more later, but all filters were off so no job abilities were used.

They do it more than once, but it is possible with a few CORs on standby to refresh their Meikyo Shisuis.

However, its most likely lag in the output, even if the rest of it is flowing smoothly.

Also, Sath, did you watch their character to see if they actually WSd that many times? It'd be pretty obvious if you see 5 Gekko animations going off in a row. It's not always so obvious what's really going on in the log.

Though I have had times when I lagged a bit then saw the last 2 minutes of a fight flash by in super fast forward speed for a few seconds to catch up. But you said you weren't lagging, so you might have been able to trust your eyes in that case if you watched their actual characters.

Normally happens on zergish mobs like DL, surprised it was happening in the Aery. It definitely happens sometimes though, like below.

I was watching on my friends screen (my character is getting 3113 error still which makes no sense) but they were all going off in the same motion and registered 3-5x no like Gekko > gekko > gekko > gekko it was just Gekko x1 and 5x dmg showed up

seen a shark bite like this on fafnir too, but the thf who did it didn't see the extra shark bite in his log. probably just a display glitch on your side but it's weird that it shows 2 different numbers.

That's perfectly Normal. Cosmic Elucidation always hits everybody in the party. Your SS shows 6 hits, one on each person.
