    Monster VIT Data

    Tried 3 Ulli and Byakko last night. Probably I the numbers can give a rough approximate to their VIT:

    Ullikumi
    My ranged Attack on Ulli either 105, 108 or 111. Didn't see any number other than those 3. But 108 is the number I saw the most. Hence, I'll take that number for this calculation

    I was using 59+25 = 84 total STR during normal shot, Sbow(D72), and Demon Arrows(D34). Since the number popped were constants, I can assume pDIF was 1.0
    108 = 72 + 34 + fSTR2
    fSTR2 = 2 -> ΔSTR = -4 or -5

    Ulli VIT = 88 or 89
    And its defense should be no less than 387, since eating coeurl sub or not didn't change from me having the same pDIF (1.0)

    Byakko
    I'm pretty sure all my ranged attack hit for 97 from optimal distance all the time.
    Again same setup. STR59+25 = 84 and this time I remember my AGI was 78+21. So archery WSC = 31.
    one of My Arching Arrow using demon arrow hit for 447

    So working it back with Arching Arrow :
    447 = (72+ 34 + 31 + fSTR2)*3.5
    127.714... = 72 + 34 + 31 + fSTR2
    rounding up 127.714.. to 128
    128 = 72 + 34 + 31 + fSTR2
    fSTR2 = -9

    also from normal ranged attack :
    97 = (72 + 34 + fSTR2)
    fSTR2 = -9

    very close number
    Find a respective ΔSTR to fSTR2 = -9 : about -31 or -32 STR
    So Byakko VIT : 115 or 116

    Wow, Byakko has crazy VIT. He's the soft mob too, so uhh, what is Genbu's VIT...? I thought studiogobli had Kirin's VIT at 92-93, how is Byakko so much higher than that estimate?

    I thought their(SG) Kirin VIT estimation was 120 (fake one though) with def 413
    and the other fake model is 90 VIT with 475 def

    We actually fought 1 Genbu too last night... but since the debuff / Genbu's buff is a bit messy, I can't conclude anything from that fight

    Byakko soft? Maybe he looks soft, but his defense is pretty high. Seiryu is the soft one.

    Byakko may not be entirely soft, but he is THF/WHM and if I recall correctly, thieves tend to take more damage from piercing and/or ranged attacks. I'm not sure if this was because they tend to have lower defense or of there was something else involved there.

    I've always done 10.3 for gods and 10.6 for Kirin(10.6 is right outside AOE range), and that's always worked very well for me.

    Edit: Sorry, forgot to mention the above distances were using Ebow. Xbow I usually stand a little closer on the off chance I use that or gun.

    I've seen some of the highest numbers on Seiryu yeah, but with dispelga spam I never get to keep Berserk up for him. Byakko I can regularly get above 1.0 pDIF for melee strikes. Most thief mobs take a decent amount of damage too, just super crazy evasion.

    Changed the thread title... so I can post more related stuff

    Got to duo some Om'Phuabo with My RDM friend this evening:

    All of these are Acid Bolt'd Om'Phuabo :
    STR: 59+23= 82
    Weapons : Othinus Bow (D54)
    Ammo : Acid bolt (D21) and Holy bolt (D32)

    Om'Phuabo : 150 Limit Point duo
    Holy bolt raw damage : 83
    Acid bolt : 72

    constant damage from all range, every shot => pDIF = 1.0
    83 = 54 + 32 + fSTR2
    72 = 54 + 21 + fSTR2
    => fSTR2 = -3 => ΔSTR = -16 or -17
    => Phuabo VIT = 98 or 99

    Om'Phuabo : 182 Limit Point duo
    Holy bolt raw damage : 84
    Acid bolt : 73

    constant damage from all range, every shot => pDIF = 1.0
    84 = 54 + 32 + fSTR2
    73 = 54 + 21 + fSTR2
    => fSTR2 = -3 => ΔSTR = -13 or -15
    => Phuabo VIT = 95 to 97

    It's really weird the higher level one have lower VIT ¯\(º_o)/¯
    so my guess the average VIT is just 97-98 VIT. Very high for VT monsters.
