I had something like that happen yesterday in Grauberg, tabbed back after a couple minutes of being afk and the floor was made up of giant black blocks with ABCabc0101010101010 all over the place, and some panel underneath me that said "Confirm?" whenever I was walking around. Strangely enough, when I tabbed back to firefox the drop down on the address bar was filled with FFXI status icons and wouldn't type.

Okay, maybe my last "bug" was me being stupid about something, but this one was genuinely odd to me. Was fighting Shinryu, trying to proc it. However, I accidentally WS'd right as it was doing Cosmic Breath. However, despite healing it as a result of a TP move or attack going off at the same time with wings up, it still proc'd. All we know about procs is a lie? Idk, maybe it's something I missed regarding Shinryu, but I've never proced while healing it before. You can even see that Cosmic Breath never went off, hence why I included the whole log.

Shinryu lags more than other mobs with those characteristics...sometimes you can't even proc him at all

You're seeing one (actually two if you look farther) bcnm instances that you get teleported to when you enter any bcnm up there. Is that new bird kcnm up there? Some bc got a bird in it.

You can see similar things in salvage/undersea ruins and other zones with lots of doors if you have fillmode on. For some reason the doors draw but the surrounding area doesn't at long distances.

Yeah that's what I figured they were. There's actually three doors in this pic but its hard to see the last one, it was a pink bird flying behind the first door so I'm not sure which bcnm that is lol.

Maybe this one? Two of the birds there are pink versions, but that'd be odd as they're supposed to be off at Waughroon Shrine...

Birds of a Feather, The V Formation, etc. I can't think of any reason a pink bird would be in that zone though. Draylo, man up and POS hack over there to satiate our curiosity.

It wouldn't really come as much surprise if the battlefields for the MKD fight were just up in the air like that. I believe SE's been known to do similar things with other BC/faux-"instanced" areas. Isn't Einherjar designed much the same way?

No, Einherjar's battlefields literally all connect to each other from the main room. Though, most BCNM areas do just have them floating. If you change the fillmode and extend draw distance it's very obvious.
