Well, I'm pretty sure what you're describing comes from updating while Sandboxed or a similar issue. I played with invisible armor, glowing Verths in people's chests, etc. for like two months before I got unlazy and reinstalled the game right (delete the folders after uninstalling and then reinstall).

You don't actually have to reinstall, I did that as well a couple updates back - if you just replace the entire C:\Program Files (x86)\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\ folder with a clean install from either one of the torrents or another comp, it'll fix it.

I was actually thinking five minutes ago that I should ask about the cross-chat log problem with dual-boxed characters on one comp, then I saw Draylo's dagger through the head problem and proceeded to Google "sandboxed FFXI." Kismet?

Now, is there a way to get a dagger through the head on command?

Okay, so this one is just... weird. I went to go to Windy to drop off some GP items at the cooking guild, so I took the nomad moogle from the Kupowers to warp to Windurst. Normally this puts you at the moogle in front of the Mog House in Port Windy, but this time I found myself in a rather unusual place:

For whatever reason it dumped me out atop the boxes where the Onion Brigade meets. The poor player down there was looking at me, rather mystified. I can say I know all too well how he feels. @.@

NoScript isn't for ad blocking... I don't know what Opera does but I do know that.
It is possible that Opera has this functionality as well but I doubt it.
